FAQs

What is a Public Adjuster?
A public adjuster is licensed professional claims adjuster and advocate for the policy owner. We expertly prepare, present and negotiate your claim with your insurance accompany representative. Public adjusters are licensed and bonded in each state they work in.

Why do I need a public adjuster?
Your insurance company has a staff of adjusters and claim handlers that are trained to represent their interests and not yours. The skilled professionals your insurance company sends out to investigate and calculate your loss are paid by the same company. Will you get a fair settlement? The conflict is obvious. We at CAS have extensive knowledge and experience dealing with insurance companies and adjusters to insure that you receive the maximum settlement from your policy.

What if I already filed a claim?
It’s not too late to have a public adjuster review your loss and negotiate a higher and fair settlement. Of course it’s always better to have a public adjuster represent you from the start of the claim. This insures that there is no misrepresentation or a reason given that the insurance company can deny your claim.

How is a public adjuster compensated?
A public adjuster works for a small percentage of your settlement payable after you are indemnified. The fee is 100% contingent so if you don’t get paid we don’t get paid

Can I prepare my own claim?
Sure, you can and many have done this but at what cost? It stands to reason that when you enlist us as your license public insurance adjuster you will benefit from our many years of experience and training.

We will assist you in the preparation of an inventory of damaged items. We will provide you with estimates and other documentation substantiating your loss. We will handle all the necessary details for compiling and filing claims, as required by the terms of your insurance policy.

Are you connected with insurance companies?
No, I am employed exclusively by you – the policyholder- not by an insurance company. People working for your insurance company get paid whether or not you your claims is denied or paid for. We do not get receive paid until you receive payment from the insurance company.
